Shock!
This is the first time I've seen one of these in a long time.
Planned Outage gay.com will be offline on April 7, 2009 between 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM PST for scheduled maintenance.
Of course I haven't been online as much as I used to.

The online time was changed from 10 AM to 12 PM and now it is 2 PM. Like you said previously...at this point this system maintenance is no longer "planned" although that is what the site says.
I just checked and it now claims they'll be back up by 3PM Pacific. So what was supposed to be an 8-hour job is now 13+.
This did get me checking their blog and I noticed a March 10 post about an "upgrade" (I'd wondered why some things were behaving strangely). http://blog.gay.com/gaycomblog/2009/03/site-update-march-10.html What seems stupid is that they've changed their "Local Scene" section to a "Nightlife" section. While I, obviously, hadn't paid much attention to that it disturbs me that the section is focused on "nightlife" and not the whole "scene" (such as it is). When visiting another city I'd like to know about their museums and other attractions, not just the "nightlife" bars, etc.
